The history of Prosecco Valdo begins in 1926, when a group of enterprising entrepreneurs from Valdobbiadene decided to unite by creating the Società Anonima Vini Superiori: a company mainly dedicated to the sparkling wine making of Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore and Cartizze.

The big leap in quality took place at the beginning of the 1930s, when the company was bought by the Bolla family, who changed its name to Valdo Spumanti only later in 1951.

Sergio Bolla, father of the current President Pierluigi, focused on expanding sales both in Italy and in foreign markets, set new commercial and production goals with the ambition of making Prosecco Valdo, or rather Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG known at all. the world
